Krysta Oehm M.A., LIMHP, CPCAs the founder of Mind Matters Mental Health & Wellness, I am dedicated to providing excellent mental health guidance. People choose to seek guidance through counseling for a variety of reasons, and thankfully, asking for professional support has become a normal part of our society. While specializing in a variety of mental health matters, I practice on the premise that mental health and physical health go hand-in-hand. My goal is to help you find empowerment within yourself to grow or heal and to provide expertise in the topics you wish to address. It is my honor to help you do the work to become the best version of yourself!
Drawing from a variety of theories, my overall approach is strength-based, solution-focused, collaborative, empathetic, and holistic. I am versed in a variety of mental health topics from daily life stressors and adjustments to major mental health diagnoses. In addition, my experience as a NCAA Division 1 athlete has lended to a specialized interest in sports and performance counseling. In addition to clinical work, I enjoy speaking about mental health and psychology related subjects at conferences and seminars.

Stephanie Walther Juhnke M.A., LIMHP, LMHP, NCCAs an associate at Mind Matters Mental Health & Wellness, I am a dedicated and compassionate counselor with over ten years of professional experience. I am an excellent communicator with strong perceptivity that allows me to develop possible solutions and suggestions to help clients gain practical insight into their overall health and wellness. Life can become overwhelming quickly. People often forget that it is okay to stop and ask for help. When it becomes too much, the support from a counselor can be a rewarding experience. I provide an atmosphere of safety and understanding so individuals will feel comfortable. There are no wrong feelings or wrong answers. I personalize my therapeutic services utilizing a client-centered approach to the needs of each individual. I have a passion for helping others return to regain emotional balance and to reach a state where healing can take place. My overall approach is strength-based, collaborative, empathetic, and holistic.
In addition to clinician work, I have started to begin to become involved in volunteer work related to Disaster Mental Health, including group Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training.

To meet the needs of each unique client, I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices and approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and ERP (Exposure & Response Prevention). While I specialize in OCD and related disorders, including panic disorder, phobias, body dysmorphia and body focused repetitive disorders (skin picking, hair pulling, etc.), I also enjoy working with generalized anxiety and life transitions. I have extensive training through the IOCDF (International OCD Foundation) and am an IOCDF preferred provider. When I’m not in my office, you’ll likely find me running on a trail somewhere, baking in the kitchen, or curled up with a good book.
